yes i know this pic isn't done. but i am having an ass load of trouble deciding what to put in it. though i want it to be like some run down, half lit, dank, once a bright sterile research facility, kinda place. but i have no idea how to draw it. also the hand and gun aren't done either. i just wanted to post this up any ways because i haven't posted for a while and this pic is taking a long time. peace.

i think it looks really great so far, the hand and the gun COULD be just fine depending on what type of look you are going for, and assuming of course you clean the hand up. But it looks like she is holding the gun shakey, like really scared to fire, and not cuz of the blurryness of the hand just the way the fingers and gun are sitting. But if you are going for more of a determined, "get out of my way im blasting anything that moves" look, then u might want to make the fingers into more of a tightened fist grip on the gun. Cuz right now if she pulled the trigger it would probably fly out of here hand or smack her in the face

That's all the advice I can really give.
Speculation though -the handle would be a little smaller in proportion to the hand and rest of the gun? maybe. Also the trigger guard and handle seem to be a little off angle from the rest of the gun... but if you are going from a reference and thats how it looks, then maybe my eye is tweaked or something.

Hope that helps, and you get more help from people about backgrounds and stuff, I know nothing of that so sorry.

But even if this was a finished piece, it looks COOL!! really cool, good luck, it's gonna turn out great.

yeah when i first drew the hand i wasn't thinking of putting a gun in it, she was going to be about to grab something. but then i noticed that a gun could fit in it even if it looked like a loose grip. and you're right about proportions and stuff. thanx
