i am so freaking tired of drawing this picture, there are so many things wrong with it, and the more i try to fix em the worse the whole thing gets. so there y'are done and done. done in photoshop 7 with a mouse and like 8 hours. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. We tried that already and Kurt Russell was raped by Christmas critters.

We become attached to what's familiar, and sometimes we hold onto things that are safe and predictable, even if they are bad for us.
The only thing that might be wrong is that the jacket isn't really floating around, and the underwater clothes might need to be a bit more "puffed?" up (more blown up by the water)
Other than that, the umbrella was a funny idea.

I'm a bit surprised you left the one hand (the one under water) like that but I do understand your impatiance, it always takes a looong time to get something even relatively simple done
